A few months ago, two of my friends and I decided we should do a little Saturday getaway to a little place called Cedar Creek. Located on Tambourine Mountain in the Gold Coast Hinterlands, it’s this beautiful paradise where you can go take a dip in the many swimming holes along the creek. Being guilty of several counts of “we’ll go soon”, we finally got our act together this weekend.
It ended up being the best Saturday I’ve had in a while. Instead of being cooped up inside, it was a welcome breath of fresh air and scenery (and freezing cold water!). There’s nothing that quite matches Hinterland beauty (here’s some more Hinterland shots). Hoping these trips become a regular thing!
